Puppies are a very important aspect of the philosophy of Soaring Eagle Setters. LLC We believe that our puppies are a brilliant example of what a Setter or GSP should be. We want only the best for our customers and we have spent many hours researching lines and breed stock from those lines. We believe that we have pulled dogs from the lines that have been most successful to those who are familiar with Setter lineage. Whether you want a companion dog or a sporting/hunting dog, you have chosen the right place to purchase a puppy. Before you purchase a puppy though there are a few things about English Setters and GSP's that you need to be aware of and need to be sure that these needs are met for the youngster that you will be bringing to your home. We advise our customers to read up on the care required before purchasing a dog.
Puppies are available at different times throughout the year. All puppies are FDSB (Field Dog Stud Book) registered. German Shorthair puppies are dual registered with AKC and FDSB. All Puppies are $500.00 unless otherwise stated. There is a $100.00 deposit required to reserve a puppy. Please let us know when making the deposit if you want a male or female. As for color, there are no guarantees. The deposits work on a first come first serve basis. We go by the date on the deposit for your pick from the litter. If your desired puppy is not in that litter, you will be placed in order of priority for the next litter. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!!!!! Also important to note that WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP ANY PUPPY FROM ANY LITTER AT ANY TIME!!!
The first step to purchasing a puppy is fill out the questionnaire so we can understand who you are and what you are looking for but most of all we need this to determine if a Soaring Eagle puppy is for you!!!!!
You also MUST READ AND SIGN the agreement below before you will be allowed to purchase a puppy from Soaring Eagle Setters LLC. This agreement was drawn up for the protection of not only us but our dogs as well. We are selective in who we let acquire our dogs. We want you to be happy with them and most of all for them to be happy with you. If you can not follow the terms of the agreement than a Soaring Eagle Setters LLC isn't for you !!!!
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SELL A PUPPY TO ANY BUYER AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON!!!!
Soaring Eagle Setters LLC agrees to sell and the PURCHASER agrees to buy the puppy detailed below. Soaring Eagle Setters LLC guarantees that the puppy is in good health, has been veterinarian checked, has had all required vaccines for a puppy of 8 weeks and has been dewormed, microchipped and registered with FDSB. Puppy dew claws will have been removed. Soaring Eagle Setters LLC will provide the appropriate FDSB registration papers according to this agreement. Soaring Eagle Setters LLC reserves the right to prefix the kennel name and supply a registry name for the dog. The puppies are given their registry name in accordance with which litter they are born from. For example, if they are born from the "A" litter than their registered name will begin with an A. The purchaser can use whatever call or pet name is desired for the pup however the registered name must be the one given. This is enforced and can be checked on through AKC and FDSB.
That the PURCHASER agrees to and understands the following conditions:
Validation of the health guarantee requires examination by the vet of your choice and at the purchaser's expense within 10 days of the delivery date. This vet exam is mandatory to confirm that your puppy was not sick or injured at the time of delivery. Failure to complete this examination constitutes a waiver of the LLC's health guarantee.
Soaring Eagle Setters LLC guarantees the puppies up until 2 years of age against all congenital and hereditary defects .
If the puppy has congenital or hereditary defects as determined by a licensed vet, it will be replaced with the first available puppy of the same value from the Soaring Eagle Setter's LLC stock as soon as reasonably possible. The original puppy must be returned unconditionally before a new puppy can be delivered. The returning puppy must have it's registration papers signed over to Soaring Eagle Setters LLC. No one may keep the original puppy it must be returned.
The guarantee against transmissible diseases such as parvovirus for example, is valid for a period of 7 days starting on the day of delivery, since the normal incubation period for transmissible diseases is 5 to 7 days. For example if the first signs of parvovirus were to show up on a puppy 12 to 15 days from delivery, the puppy could not have carried that disease from the Soaring Eagle Setters LLC premises and incubate for that long before showing signs of the disease.
Furthermore:
1). The puppy shall not be sold, leased or given to any pet shop or research facility unless Soaring Eagle Setters LLC has been given 1st right of refusal. This also includes animal shelters.
2). The puppy shall not be sold, given or donated to any person without Soaring Eagle Setter's LLC prior knowledge or consent.
3). In the event that the purchaser can not maintain the puppy, Soaring Eagle Setters LLC shall be informed and the puppy or mature dog MUST BE SURRENDERED BACK TO SOARING EAGLE SETTERS LLC. THIS POLICY IS ENFORCED!!!!!
5). In the event that the purchaser wishes to sell the said puppy -Soaring Eagle Setters LLC AND ONLY SOARING EAGLE SETTERS LLCshall have 1st right of refusal to purchase the puppy for a price that Soaring Eagle Setters LLC stipulates. The price will be no more than the purchase price but less if need be as it is Soaring Eagle Setters LLC discretion.
6). The puppy has been purchased as a PET ONLY and must be neutered or spayed by 8 months of age. Once we have proof from a certified vet that the puppy has been altered we will send you the papers. Until the pet is altered the dog is not registered. Once the dog is altered , limited registration is what the classification is. There are exceptions to this clause especially if you are a breeder or a license operating kennel. Please email or call for further info here.
7). Soaring Eagle Setters LLC is NOT responsible for any bills that the purchaser may incur regarding the said puppy.
8). Soaring Eagle Setters LLC IS NOT responsible for any shipping or crate fees needed to transport the puppy at the time of purchase.
The purchaser further warrants that the puppy
-Will be kept as a pet in appropriate conditions for it's health and welfare and will be fed a suitable diet for it's age and condition.
-Will receive booster vaccinations from a vet at appropriate ages.
-Will receive all necessary veterinary care to promote it's good health.
It is the intention of this contract to promote , advance and perpetuate the integrity of the dog breed and to promote the interest of both Soaring Eagle Setters LLC and the purchaser.
Purchaser agrees that this contract is legal and binding. Any disputes that can not be settled between Soaring Eagle Setters LLC and the purchaser will be settled in the courts in the state in which the lawsuit was brought forth. Violation of this agreement shall entitle Soaring Eagle Setters LLC to damages in an amount equal to the expenses incurred by the seller in the enforcement of this contract. Any legal action filed by either party in an effort to enforce this contract, will be filed in the county where Soaring Eagle Setters LLC resides. ALL LEGAL COSTS SHALL BE INCURRED BY THE PURCHASER. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement for reasonable attorney fees incurred as a result of the enforcement of this contract. The signature below acknowledges that the purchaser understands and agrees to the terms of this agreement.
PLEASE REALIZE THAT THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. WE CAN NOT STATE THAT ENOUGH!!!!!!
I, THE PURCHASER HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, SIGNED, DATE, AND DO FULLY AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL THE CONDITIONS IN THE ABOVE PARAGRAPHS OF THIS CONTRACT AS STATED ABOVE BY SOARING EAGLE SETTERS LLC
